Performance of PE-X Pipes:
PE and PEX are the products arising from rapid high molecular material development. PE was produced earlier and is widely used in various packing. PE food packing does not react chemically, it gives no odor, toxics or smell and is safe and hygienic without any filtration. However, the material can not withstand high temperature or light. The tensile strength is low and life time is short. PEX is produced by adding alkyl silicon branching material into PE which then undertakes two-step cross linking restructuring and forms co-valence between big polymer molecules. PEX is in 3D cross linked net structure. It possesses not only the characteristics of PE, but also better physic property. The temperature resistance (-40¡æ~95¡æ), anti-chemical corrosion performance and life time (property does not change for min. 50 years) are improved.
PEX pipes for liquid transportation do not give fouling. They have good anti-attrition, anti-rust and hydraulic performance.
